Sunday Dog Walk

Well at last, I have five minutes to type my blog post. It has been very exciting here as my new Knitting book should be available to purchase from the beginning of September.

My husband and I have been very busy at work as well so before the weekend had completely gone we decided to visit the village of Harbury with our dog. Millie loves going off the lead and Harbury has a great playing field for dog walkers. Our Yorkie was in her element chasing a Westie and Red Setter. It is great to see how confident she is now and not the nervous Dog Trust rescue she was when we had her.

The first thing that stuck me was the beautiful gardens and the amount of flowers that were already big and blousy.

Harbury is such a pretty village anyway with thatched houses, stone cottages and Georgian houses. It is a quaint place with very friendly people. As we walked we noticed there are a lot of new buildings going up on the edge of the village, but it looks like the builders are trying to make them blend in.

I did do a bit of daydreaming as I found my dream cottage, but work another week I think as I have not won the lottery yet.
